The state economy will continue its sluggish recovery in 2013, but is expected to gain momentum the following two years, according to the University of the Pacific’s Business Forecasting Center.

The Port of Stockton is a fixture of the city and the region as the commercial shipping gateway to the rest of the world.

The Lisa Project is a mobile, multisensory experience created by Gene Hadin in 2010 for the Child Abuse Prevention Council of San Joaquin County. “Not only are we raising awareness, but we’re connecting people to resources in the community,” said Hardin.
