This isn’t going to be easy.

With the third-quarter acquisition of Guaranty Bank, it now has 59 branches in California. Guaranty Bank had 160 branches nationwide. All Guaranty banking centers in Stockton, Lodi, Manteca, Tracy, Modesto and Turlock will all be a part of the transition.
Joseph F. Sheley has been named president of CSU Stanislaus, the university announced Wednesday. Sheley had served as interim president of the campus since June 2012. His appointment is effective immediately.
California’s unemployment rate dropped to 9.0 percent in April, according to data released today by the California Employment Development Department (EDD) from two separate surveys.
