ChemStation names Smith sales manager

Written by

STOCKTON – A manufacturing center producing biodegradable, environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals recently announced a promotion.

Steve Smith, who joined ChemStation of Northern California in April 2010 as an account manager, was named sales manager.
Smith has worked cultivating and managing his territory since joining the Stockton manufacturing center, according to a statement on the promotion. High expectations had been set for Smith when he was hired and he did not fall short.

Smith has a well-rounded background in sales and understanding of products and relationships with customers that serve him well, according to the statement. His previous work endeavors and connections in the asphalt and concrete industries have made it possible for the business to become a force in these markets.

ChemStation of Northern California is a franchise of ChemStation International Inc., and is one of a network of 56 manufacturing centers across the United States producing biodegradable, environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals for the food and beverage, parts cleaning, odor control, transportation, refinery/petrochemical, and many other industries. Products are customized to customer specification, blended locally, and delivered to refillable containers, eliminating hundreds of thousands of drums from being thrown into landfills.
