STOCKTON – More than 80,000 people working 3 million hours in one week is cause to celebrate.
Express Employment Professionals, one of the nation’s largest privately held staffing companies, announced that its associates at more than 550 franchise locations in the United States, Canada and South Africa worked 3 million hours in one week for employer clients across various industries.
"Regardless of the struggling economy and lackluster job market," said Kevin Barth, owner of the Stockton Express office, "we’ve managed to find jobs, put people to work, and help employers who need qualified, temporary staff on hand."
Express set a new company record in reaching this milestone. This is the first time in the companies’ 28-year history this many hours were worked in one week. And that held true in Stockton, as well.
"Last week we had more associates working more hours at more companies than ever before in the history of the Express Employment Professionals’ Stockton office," said Barth. "We are hearing from clients who say their business is picking up, and from new clients who want to add people in a way that still gives the employer flexibility."
The Stockton Express Employment Professionals office began operation in 1997 and serves the area including Stockton, Lodi, Galt, and the foothills with temporary help and direct-hire employees in a variety of fields, including light industrial, administrative, data processing, accounting and financial management, sales, marketing and more.
