Group fighting lawsuit abuse kicking off national tour in Lodi

Written by

LODI – An organization that fights lawsuit abuse will be in Lodi 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 23) to kick off the national Create Jobs Not Lawsuits tour.

The event sponsored by California Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse will be at the Post Office Plaza at the intersection of Oak and School streets.

“Come show your support for California’s small business owners and tell our elected leaders that enough is enough,” reads a portion of the notice about the event. “It’s time for legal reform to put a stop to this nonsense.”

Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse (CALA) is a nonpartisan grassroots movement of concerned citizens and businesses fighting against lawsuit abuse in California. CALA serves as a watchdog to challenge the abuse of our civil justice system, and engages the public and the media to deliver the message that lawsuit abuse is alive and well in California.
