STOCKTON – A local marketing firm on Saturday is celebrating its first anniversary in business.
Port City Marketing Solutions Inc., owned by Erin Diego and Kristen Dyke, is located at 209 Dorris Place on the Miracle Mile and still displays the ivory ribbon used at the grand opening ceremony a year ago that was signed by members of the community.
“It has been a wonderful experience becoming part of the Miracle Mile community and the Stockton community at large,” said Dyke, “which is why we strongly believe in working with local nonprofit organizations and the University of the Pacific to give back to our community.”
The community’s support has allowed Port City Marketing to grow its clientele as well as its workforce. In May, Diego and Dyke hired their first employee, Tricia Juanitas, a graphic designer from Pacific.
“It’s rewarding being part of a company that helps other businesses flourish through personalized marketing tactics and meaningful design,” said Juanitas. “It’s such a unique way to have a positive impact on the community.”
