MODESTO – The next Stanislaus Business Forum will cover finding and receiving capital to operated and grow a business.
The Alliance Small Business Development Center event will be 7:15 to 11 a.m. Feb. 22 at the Martin G. Petersen Events Center at 720 12th St., Modesto. Breakfast is included with the $40 for the event, but RSVP is requested by Feb. 13.
Six funders are expected to be on hand to explain their programs for funding business – traditional bank funding and lines of credit, commercial property loans, government guaranteed funding, nonprofit community lending, venture capital funding in the Central Valley, and local private investment capital.
Local business speaker for the event will be John Duarte, president of Duarte Nursery, the largest crops nursery in the United States.
