MODESTO – A law firm with a recently opened office in Modesto is inviting Central Valley employers to a mixer and brief employment law presentation.
Berliner Cohen will host the mixer and presentation “The Top 2012 Employment Law Changes in 12 Minutes” 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at Double Tree by Hilton, 1150 9th St., Modesto. Parking will be validated.
Attendees can enjoy drinks and appetizers, and learn from the 30-minute program focusing on a dozen new legislative and case law developments affecting California employers in 2012.
Roberta Hayashi and Kate Wilson, Berliner Cohen attorneys, will discuss recent legal developments for employers on such topics as employee classification, wage and hour compliance, social media in the workplace, and responding to government audit requests and investigations.
