Hybrid cars and solar power: ‘not if but when’

Hybrid cars and solar energy are both in what I call the “not if, but when” stage.

Fast reverse to the summer of 2008 and I’ll explain.

Gasoline climbed past $4 a gallon with no end in sight.  Fuel prices soared so high, Lilliputian Smart Cars were flying off dealership lots.
