Attendance at this year’s Stockton Asparagus Festival fell by 25 percent, according to figures from organizers.

This may be the last year the Stockton Asparagus Festival holds the huge community event in downtown Stockton. Festival organizers are considering moving to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds next year if they can’t reach an agreement on its contract with the city.
