SunOpta expands Modesto operation

SunOpta Inc, a natural and organic foods company, recently finished expanding its Modesto operation with the installation and commissioning of a second processor, increasing processing capacity at the facility by approximately 50 percent in order to meet increased customer demand, while also improving operating flexibility and efficiencies.

Saint-Gobain, a polyvinyl pipe making company with production facilities in Lodi, has agreed to sell its U.S.-based PVC pipe and foundations business to North American Pipe Corporation, a subsidiary of Westlake Chemical Corporation of Houston, Texas.
