Palmer signs Arizona solar company

The Palmer Ad Agency signed new solar industry client, SouthFace Solar Electric, to help the Arizona-based solar company increase leads and spread brand awareness through outbound and inbound marketing practices, Palmer announced.

Supervisors Tuesday unanimously approved a plan for San Joaquin County to recruit and attract businesses. The San Joaquin County Economic Development Vision and Implementation Plan seeks to help the county target ways to improve the business climate and draw businesses to the county.

California wine grape tonnage, prices climb

 

The California Department of Food and Agriculture today reported that the preliminary 2012 report shows nearly 4.4 million tons of wine grapes were crushed, 13 percent more than the 3.87 million tons the previous year and 1 percent higher than the previous high in 2005.

Entrepreneur Challenge application deadline nears

 

San Joaquin Angels, along with regional educational institutions and economic development groups, are offering at least $10,000 in cash and $14,000 in professional services to the two entrepreneurs who win the “American Idol”- style San Joaquin Entrepreneur Challenge.
